China Glaze and Color Club Christmas Mani

I used China Glaze Glittering Garland from the 2011 Holiday Collection, on the little and middle fingers.  A glittering emerald green with micro fine glitter.  The index and ring fingers had Color Club's Santa's Cinnamon.  A polish that is scented, I could not detect the cinnamon fragrance though.  The SC is a luscious red with red glitter.  I topped SC with China Glaze Twinkle Lights from the 2011 Holiday Collection.  TL's is a gold glitter polish with red and green glitter included.  Sorry about the blurry picture.  Still learning how to get better shots.  Hope everyone had a blessed holiday.

Five Flakie polishes by Finger Paints

Introducing the new colors by Finger Paints.  Left to Right: Asylum, Flashy, Flecked, Motley, and Twisted.

Left to Right, these are four of the new flakie polishes,Motley, Flecked, Flashy, and Asylum.

I used China Glaze Up All Night as a base for these colors. In the bottle, Motley is a blue flakie with flashes of green, Flecked is a green flakie with flashes of blue, Flashy is more coppery in color with no real flash of another color and Asylum is a Pink with flashes of blue/violet.

This is Twisted

Twisted shows blue, green, gold, pink, purple flakies in the bottle.  All those pretty colors show up on the nail. Sorry about the picture not showing up with all the bright colors.  If you are wondering what my hand is in front of it is my cat.  She is a muddy Blue Point Siamese.  So her fur is a brownish gray.

Wish the sun was shining here so I could try to get some pictures of these beautiful colors in the sunlight.  It is a dreary day here.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.

OPI Your Royal Shine-ness and Servin' Up Sparkle

Been wanting to do this for a long time, finally made the decision to actually do it.  So be kind to me while I learn about the blogging world.  I have been doing my nails since I was fifteen.  Have only been without polish on all my nails once since then and two nails on three occasions (surgeries).  I have a large collection of nail colors (about eleven hundred).

First I want to tell you I have natural nails.  Now to tell you about the Zipper Nails that are the picture at the top of my blog.  They are actual zippers put on me by Yomishia, her Facebook page is Yomishia's Nails (please visit her FB page) .  Silver and gold zippers were cut to fit each nail.  Black was mixed with silver or gold acrylic to coordinate with the zipper.  I received rave reviews from people when they noticed the zippers.  A few people even took out their phones and took pictures of them.

So on to the color I picked for my first post.  It is OPI's Your Royal Shine-ness with Servin" Up Sparkle, from the Serena Williams Glam Slam Collection, layered on top . I loved the look, as a co-worker said "it looks like raindrops on your nails".  YRS is a luscious silver that looks great alone.  With the addition of SUS on top it adds a dimension to the silver that reminds me of a nail color from the seventies by Loreal called Sterling Silver.  I still actually have my bottle of it.  Will have to road test it sometime to show everyone.

Thank you for reading this.  Have a Great Day.
